Deep Sea Diver has released a new single and video in the form of ‘Shovel’. Musically, it’s an angular released that effortlessly jumps from tender, theatrical acoustic guitar-backed moments of shaky-voiced melody into punchy choruses supported by an instrumental that feels like Kate Bush at her heaviest. On the video that accompanies the track, Deep Sea Diver explains: “I wanted to do a one-shot video that captured the grit, rawness, and intensity of the song.
